RESOLUTION NO. 2019-689
RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH BFI
WASTE SERVICES, LLC, DBA REPUBLIC SERVICES OF
CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA, FOR THE CITY OF WATERLOO'S
VOLUNTARY CURBSIDE RECYCLING PROGRAM BY
PROVIDING A RECYCLING PROCESSING FACILITY, FOR A
PERIOD OF FIVE (5) YEARS, AND AUTHORIZE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Recycling Processing Services Agreement dated September 9, 2019, between BFI Waste
Services, LLC, dba Republic Services of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, for
the City of Waterloo's Voluntary Curbside Recycling Program, by providing a recycling
processing facility, for a period of five (5) years, is hereby approved, and the Mayor and City
Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said document on behalf of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9th day of September 2019.
