RESOLUTION NO. 2019-691
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK
FOR WORK PERFORMED BY BOULDER CONTRACTING,
LLC, OF GRUNDY CENTER, IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT OF
$484,332.11, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 2019 BRIDGE
REPAIRS, DUBUQUE ROAD OVER BLOWERS CREEK AND
GREENHILL ROAD OVER TROLLEY CAR TRAIL,
CONTRACT NO. 959, AND RECEIVE AND FILE A TWO-
YEAR MAINTENANCE BOND.
WHEREAS, Boulder Contracting, LLC, of
Grundy Center, Iowa, performed work in
conjunction with FY 2019 Bridge Repairs, Dubuque Road over Blowers Creek and Greenhill
Road over Trolley Car Trail, Contract No. 959, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, Boulder Contracting, has completed the aforementioned project in
accordance with the project plans and specifications at a total cost of$484,332.11.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Certificate of Completion and Recommendation of Acceptance of
Work for work performed by Boulder Contracting, LLC, at a total cost of $484,332.11, in
conjunction with the FY 2019 Bridge Repairs, Dubuque Road over Blowers Creek and Greenhill
Road over Trolley Car Trail, Contract No. 959, are hereby approved, and a two year maintenance
bond is hereby received and filed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9th day of September 2019.
