RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN EXCEPTION TO THE CITY OF
WATERLOO PURCHASING PROCEDURES, TO APPROVE THE
PURCHASE OF TWO (2) 2020 TYPE I SUPERLINER 171" BODY
FORD 550 AMBULANCES FROM LIFE LINE EMERGENCY
VEHICLES OF SUMNER, IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT OF $435,546.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the requested exception to the City of Waterloo Purchasing Procedures to approve
the purchase of two (2) 2020 Type I Superliner 171" Body Ford 550 Ambulances, from Life Line
Emergency Vehicles of Sumner, Iowa, in the amount of $435,546, through the Houston-
Galveston Area Council, HGACBuy, a cooperative purchasing program utilized by local
governments to receive published bids, is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of September 2019.
