RESOLUTION NO. 2019-710 RESOLUTION APPROVING A REQUEST BY SKOGMAN HOMES APPEALING THE DECISION OF THE CITY ENGINEER PER THE PROVISIONS OF THE WATERLOO CITY CODE SECTION 7-1-4(G), DIS-ALLOWANCE OF A SECOND CURB CUT ON PROPERTY WITH A CORNER FRONTAGE LOT, LOCATED AT 1709 WAXWING WAY, TOGETHER WITH RECOMMENDATION OF APPROVAL OF THE PLANNING, PROGRAMMING AND ZONING COMMISSION. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA: WHEREAS, Skogman Homes, 2922 Arbors Drive, Cedar Falls, Iowa, has made written application to the City Council appealing City Code, Section 7-1-4(G), concerning the disallowance of a second curb cut on a property with a corner frontage lot, and legally described as follows: AUDUBON HEIGHTS SIXTH ADDITION LOT 75, CITY OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA. to allow for a second curb cut at 1709 Waxwing Way in addition to an existing driveway from Audubon Drive, to allow access to an existing garage facing Waxwing Way. WHEREAS, it is the sense of the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, that the request of Skogman Homes, appealing City Code, Section 7-1-4(G), concerning the disallowance of a second curb cut on a property with a corner frontage lot, to allow for a second curb cut at 1709 Waxwing Way in addition to an existing driveway from Audubon Drive, to allow access to an existing garage facing Waxwing Way,be approved.
