Al'! ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, BY PEPEALINC SUPSECTION (d)
OF SECTION 33 3/4- - 13, LOCAL TRANSIENT GUEST TAX
FUND, OF CHAPTER 33 3/4, TAXATION: AND BY ENACTING
IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW SUBSECTION (d) OF SECTION
33 3/4 - 18, LOCAL TRANSIENT GUEST TAY FUND.
BE IT ORDAINED hy the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa:
That Subsection (d) of Section 33 3/4 - 10, Local Transient Guest Tax
Fund, of Chapter 33 2/4, Taxation, of the Code of Ordinances of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa, is hereby repealed in its entirety that new
Subsection (d) of Section 33 3/4 - 13, Local Transient Guest Tax Fund,
of Chapter 33 3/4, Taxation, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, is enacted in lieu thereof as follows:
Sec. 33 3/4 - 1.
Local transient guest tax fund.
(d) The revenue derived from any hotel and motel tax authorized
by this article shall he used as follows:
(1.) The City of Waterloo shall spend seventy-five percent
(751 for promotion of tourism within the corporate limits
of the City of Waterloo and the metro area, hut not to
exceed One Hundred Seventy-five Thousand Dollars
(5175,000.00) per fiscal year.
(2) The City of Waterloo shall snend twenty-five percent
(25%) for the retirement of the outstanding General
Obligation Bonds, principal and interest, relating to ConWay
Civic Center.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council this 27th day of October, 193,
and approved by the Mayor this 29th day of octoher, 1911.

Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa:

Taxation, of the Code of Or-
dinances of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, is hereby repealed in its
entirety; that new Subsection (d)
of Section 33 3/4 - 18, Local Trans-
ient Guest Tax Fund, of Chapter
33 3/4, Taxation, of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of Water-
loo, Iowa, Is enacted in lieu there-
of as follows:
Sec. 33 3/4 - 18. Local transient
guest tax fund.
(d) The revenue derived from any

enty-five Thousand Dollars
($175,000.00) per fiscal year.
(2) The City of Waterloo shall
spend twenty-five percent (25%)
for the retirement of the outstand-
ing General Obligation Bonds,
principal and Interest, relating to
ConWay Civic Center.

City Council this 27th day of Octo-
ber, 1986, and approved by the
