A NEW SURSECTION (c) OF SECTION 309, PPOHPITED

RE IT ORDAINED M( THE City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa:
That Subsection (c) of Section 309, Prohibited Parking nuring Snow
Removal, of the Traffic Code of the City of uaterloo, Iowa, is hereby
repealed in its entiretythat new Subsection (c) of Section
Prohihited Parkins During Snow Rerovalof the Traffic Code of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa, is nereby enacted in lieu tnereof as follows:
SEC. 309. PROHPITE9 PARKINO MIRING SNOW REMOVAL.
(c) Any police officer of the Waterloo Police Department, the
Superintendent of Streets or tne Superintendent's designee shall be
authorized to cause the towing of vehicles blocking traffic or parking
on designated Snow Removal Routes during Snow Removal operations in
violation of this Section. The owner of the vehicle shall pay the costs
of towing and storane occassioned ty the removal of the vehicle as
provided herein.
In addition to any police officer of the Waterloo Police
Department, the Superintendent of Streets, the Assistant Superintendent
of Streets and the Street Repartment Foreman shall he authorized to
issue parking tickets for violations of Section 309, parking on
designated Snow Removal Routes During Snow Removal operations.
