AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 16, GARBAGE AND REFUSE, OF THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO IOWA BY REPEALING
ET. SUBSECTION (a) OF SECTION 16-8, PEE FOR SERVICE; PENALTY FOR LATE
PAYMENT; REIMBURSEMENT, IN ITS ENTIRETY; AND BY ENACTING IN LIEU
T:. THEREOF OF NEW SUBSECTION (a) OF SECTION 16-8, FEE FOR SERVICE;

BE IT" ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That,: Subsection (a) of Section 16-8, Fee for service; penalty for
later payment; reimbursement, of Chapter 16, Garbage and Refuse, of the
CodeF-of Ordinances of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, is hereby repealed in
its entirety; that new Subsection (a) of Section 16-8, Fee for service;
penalty for late payment; reimbursement, of Chapter 16, Garbage and
Refuse of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, is
hereby enacted in lieu thereof as follows:
co (a) The expense of the garbage and refuse service shall become a charge
against the owner or occupant of every dwelling unit in the sum of five
dollars and eighty cents ($5.80) per month.
Passed and adopted by the City Council this 28 day of January, 1985,
and approved by the Mayor this 30 day of January, 1985.
