NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
On Proposed Plans, Specifications, Form
of Contract, And Estimate of Cost
For the
FY 2020 LEVEE TREE REMOVAL
In the City of Waterloo, Iowa
CONTRACT NO. 990
RECEIVING OF BIDS
Sealed proposals will be received by the
City Clerk of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, at
her office in the City Hall of the said City
on the 10th day of October, 2019 until
1:00 p.m. for theg construction of 'the FY
2020 LEVEE TREEREMOVAL, CON-
TRACT NO. 990 as described in detail in
the plans and specifications now on file in
the Office of the City Clerk.
OPENING OF BIDS
All proposals received will be.epened in
the First Floor Conference Room at City
Hall, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, on the
10th day of October, 2019 at 1:00 p.m.,
and the proposals will be acted upon at
such later time and place as may then be
fixed by the City Council.
PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the Council of
said City will conduct a public hearing on
the proposed plans, specifications, form
of contract, and estimate of cost for the
construction of the above-described im-
provement project at 5:30 p.m. on the
14th day of October, 2019, said hearing
to be held in the Harold E. Getty Council
Chambers in City Hall in said City. The
proposed plans, specifications, form of
contract, and estimate of cost for said
improvements heretofore prepared by
City of Waterloo are now on file in the
office of the City Clerk for public
examination, and any person interested
therein may file written objection thereto
with the City Clerk before the date set for
said hearing, or appear and make •
objection thereto with the City Clerk
before the date set for said hearing, or
appear and make objection thereto at the
meeting above set forth.
SCOPE OF WORK
Thiatopetipt involves cittg' trees and
brush from the 'levees.
• Published pursuant to the provisions of
Chapter 26 of the City Code of Iowa and
upon order to the City Council of said
Waterloo, Iowa, on the 23rd day of
September, 2019.
