RESOLUTION NO. 2019-724
RESOLUTION SETTING DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS
OCTOBER 7, 2019 TO APPROVE THE REQUEST BY THE
CITY OF WATERLOO TO VACATE SIDEWALKS ON BOTH
SIDES OF THE 100 BLOCK OF HALSTEAD STREET AND
THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE 100 BLOCK OF MERRIMAN
STREET, AND INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO
PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 7th day of October
2019, for the purpose of considering and acting upon the request by the City of Waterloo to
vacate sidewalks on both sides of the 100 block of Merriman Street and the south side of the
100 block of Merriman Street.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
