RESOLUTION NO. 2015-746
RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST OF MAIN STREET
WATERLOO, WATERLOO COMMUNITY SCHOOLS AND THE
CITY OF WATERLOO TO HOLD THE 17TH ANNUAL FUN
RUN EVENT ON SEPTEMBER 29, 2015 BEGINNING AT
9: 30 A.M.
WHEREAS, Main Street Waterloo, Waterloo Community Schools
and the City of Waterloo have requested that they be allowed to
hold the 17th Annual Fun Run event on September 29, 2015 starting
at 9 : 30 a.m. traveling for one mile beginning near the Expo
Center, traveling north ' on Park Avenue to Mulberry, east on
Mulberry to E. 4th, south on 4th to Jefferson and ending near the
Expo Center, together with the approval of the Director of Safety
Services, and
WHEREAS, said event will begin at 9: 30 a.m. , with the route
beginning and ending near the Expo Center.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Main Street Waterloo,
Waterloo Community Schools and the City of Waterloo to hold the
17th Annual Fun Run event on September 29, 2015 starting at 9: 30
a.m. near the Expo Center, traveling north on Park Avenue to
Mulberry, east on Mulberry to E. 4th, south on 4th to Jefferson
and ending near the Expo Center, be and the same is hereby
approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of September, 2015 .
