RESOLUTION NO. 2019-745
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., SETTING A DATE
OF BID OPENING AS OCTOBER 24, 2019 AND DATE OF PUBLIC
HEARING AS OCTOBER 28, 2019, FOR THE FY 2020 CEDAR RIVER
BLADDER DAM REPAIRS, CONTRACT NO. 996, AND INSTRUCT
CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH SAID NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary specifications bid documents, etc., in conjunction with
the FY 2020 Cedar River Bladder Dam Repairs, Contract No. 996, are hereby approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with the FY 2020 Cedar River Bladder
Dam Repairs, Contract No. 996, be scheduled for October 24, 2019 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall,
Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 28th day of October 2019, to
hold a public hearing, in conjunction with the FY 2020 Cedar River Bladder Dam Repairs,
Contract No. 996.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
