RESOLUTION NO. 2019-759
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FY 2019 EDWARD BYRNE
MEMORIAL JUSTICE ASSISTANCE GRANT, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $58,997, TO BE USED IN A JOINT EFFORT BY
JURISDICTIONS OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, CITY OF
CEDAR FALLS, BLACK HAWK COUNTY SHERIFFS OFFICE
AND THE BLACK HAWK COUNTY ATTORNEY'S OFFICE,
AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENTS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the 2019 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant dated October 7, 2019, in the
amount of$58,997, to be used in a joint effort by jurisdictions of the City of Waterloo, City of
Cedar Falls, Black Hawk County Sheriffs Office and the Black Hawk County Attorney's Office,
is hereby accepted, and the Mayor is authorized and directed to execute said agreement on behalf
of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of October 2019.
