RESOLUTION SETTING DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS
OCTOBER 28, 2019 TO APPROVE REQUEST BY LINDA
WOOCK TO REZONE 8.054 ACRES FROM "A-1"
AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT TO "R-2" ONE AND TWO
FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT, LOCATED AT AND
ADJACENT TO 2036 ASHLAND AVENUE, AND INSTRUCT
THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 28th day of October
2019, for the purpose of considering and acting upon the request by Linda Woock to rezone
8.054 acres from "A-1" Agricultural District to "R-2" One and Two Family Residence District,
located at and adjacent to 2036 Ashland Avenue.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 14th day of October 2019.
