RESOLUTION NO. 2019-775
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY SPECIFICATIONS,
FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., SETTING DATE OF BID OPENING AS
OCTOBER 31, 2019 AND PUBLIC HEARING AS NOVEMBER 4,
2019, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE 5
SULLIVAN BROTHERS CONVENTION CENTER LINTEL
REPLACEMENT, AND INSTRUCT CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH
NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications form of contract, etc., in conjunction
with the construction of the 5 Sullivan Brothers Convention Center Lintel replacement, are
approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with the construction of the 5 Sullivan
Brothers Convention Center Lintel replacement, be scheduled for October 31, 2019 at 1:00 p.m.,
City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 4th day of November 2019,
to hold a public hearing, in conjunction with construction of the 5 Sullivan Brothers Convention
Center Lintel replacement.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
