RESOLUTION SETTING DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS
NOVEMBER 18, 2019 TO APPROVE AN•AMENDMENT TO
THE DOWNTOWN WATERLOO RIVERFRONT URBAN
RENEWAL AND REDEVELOPMENT PLAN, TO UPDATE
PROJECTS AND PROJECT BUDGETS TO BE INCLUDED IN
THE PLAN AND OTHER GENERAL UPDATES TO THE
PLAN, AND SETTING DATE OF CONSULTATION WITH
TAXING ENTITIES AS OCTOBER 30, 2019, AND INSTRUCT
CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 18th day of November
2019, for the purpose of considering and acting upon an amendment to the Downtown Waterloo
Riverfront Urban Renewal and Redevelopment Plan, to update projects and project budgets to
be included in the Plan and other general updates to the Plan, and setting date of consultation
with taxing entities as October 30, 2019
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 14th day of October 2019.
