RESOLUTION NO. 2019-785
RESOLUTION AWARDING BID TO ZIEGLER CAT OF
POSTVILLE, IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT OF $7,200 PER
GRADER, PER MONTH FOR A TOTAL OF $115,200, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE RENTAL OF FOUR (4) MOTOR
GRADERS TO SUPPORT SNOW REMOVAL OPERATIONS,
AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, Ziegler CAT of Postville, Iowa, submitted a bid for the rental of four (4)
motor graders to support snow removal operations, in the amount of $7,200 per grader, per
month for a total of$115,200, after public hearing on October 14, 2019, and is the apparent low
bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA
1. That the bid of Ziegler CAT, submitted in the amount of$7,200 per grader, per
month for a total of$115,200, for the rental of four (4) motor graders to support snow removal
operations, is hereby accepted and awarded to Ziegler CAT.
2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said
documents on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 14th day of October 2019.
