NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
On Proposed Plans, Specifications, Form
of Contract, And Estimate of Cost
For the
FY 2020 CEDAR RIVER BLADDER DAM
In the City of Waterloo, Iowa
CONTRACT NO. 996
RECEIVING OF BIDS
Sealed proposals will be received by the
City Clerk of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, at
her office in the City Hall of the said City
on the 24h day of October, 2019 until
1:00 p.m. for the reconstruction of FY
2020 CEDAR RIVER BLADDER DAM
REPAIRS, City Contract No. 996, as
described in detail in the plans and
specifications now on file in the Office of
the City Clerk.
OPENING OF BIDS
All proposals received will be 'opened in
the First Floor Conference Room at City
Hall, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, on the
24h day of October, 2019,, at 1:00 p.m.,
and the proposals Will be acted upon at
such later time and place as. may them be
fixed by the City Council.
PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby, given' that the Council of
said City will 'Conduct a public hearing on
the proposed plans, specifications, form
of contract, and estimate of cost for the
construction of the above-described im-
provement project at 5:30 p.m. on the
28th day of October, 2019 , said hearing
to be held in the Harold E. Getty Council
Chambers in City Hall in said City. The
proposed plans, specifications, form of
contract, and estimate of cost for said
improvements heretofore prepared by
AECOM for the City of Waterloo are now
on file in the office of the City Clerk for
public examination, and any person
interested therein may file written objec-
tion thereto with the City Clerk before the
date set for said hearing, or appear and
make objection thereto with the City Clerk
before the date set for said hearing, or
appear and make objection thereto at the
meeting above set forth.
SCOPE OF WORK
This project consists of repairs to the
Cedar River Dam in downtown -Waterloo
real downstream
of the Dam.
Published pursuant to the provisions of
Chapter 26 of the City Code of Iowa and
upon order to the City Council of said
Waterloo, Iowa, on the 7th day of
October, 2019.
