RESOLUTION SETTING DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS
NOVEMBER 4, 2019 TO APPROVE THE REQUEST BY THE
CITY OF WATERLOO TO REZONE 7.4 ACRES WEST OF 420
HARWOOD AVENUE FROM "R-2" ONE AND TWO FAMILY
RESIDENCE DISTRICT TO "R-1, R-P" PLANNED
RESIDENCE DISTRICT AND "C-P" PLANNED
COMMERCIAL DISTRICT, LOCATED WEST OF 420
HARWOOD AVENUE, AND INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK
TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 41h day of November
2019, for the purpose of considering and acting upon the request by the City of Waterloo to
rezone 7.4 acres west of 420 Harwood Avenue from "R-2" One and Two Family Residence
District to "R-1, R-P" Planned Residence District and "C-P" Planned Commercial District,
located west of 420 Harwood Avenue.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of October 2019.
