RESOLUTION NO. 2019-796
RESOLUTION SETTING DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS
NOVEMBER 4, 2019 TO APPROVE THE REQUEST BY THE
CITY OF WATERLOO TO VACATE APPROXIMATELY 1,113
SQUARE FEET OF ALLEY LOCATED EAST OF EVERGREEN
AVENUE BETWEEN HARWOOD AVENUE AND FALLS
AVENUE AT THE FORMER EDISON SCHOOL SITE,
AND INSTRUCT CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH SAID NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 4th day of November
2019, for the purpose of considering and acting upon the request by the City of Waterloo to
vacate approximately 1,113 square feet of alley located east of Evergreen Avenue between
Harwood Avenue and Falls Avenue at the former Edison School site.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of October 2019.
