RESOLUTION NO. 2019-798
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, BID DOCUMENTS, ETC., SETTING DATE
OF BID OPENING AS NOVEMBER 7, 2019 AND DATE OF PUBLIC
HEARING AS NOVEMBER 12, 2019, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
SNOW REMOVAL CONTRACT FOR CITY OWNED LOTS
GENERALLY ACQUIRED THROUGH IOWA CODE 657A, AND
INSTRUCT CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary specifications bid documents, etc., in conjunction with
the snow removal contract for city owned lots generally acquired through Iowa Code 657A, are
hereby approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with the snow removal contract for city
owned lots generally acquired through Iowa Code 657A, be scheduled for November 7, 2019 at
1:00 p.m., City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 12th day of November 2019,
to hold a public hearing, in conjunction with the snow removal contract for city owned lots
generally acquired through Iowa Code 657A.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
