RESOLUTION NO. 2019-816
RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONSULTING SERVICES
AGREEMENT BETWEEN MAGELLAN ADVISORS, LLC,
WATERLOO TELECOMMUNICATIONS UTILITY, AND THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, TO PERFORM A COMPREHENSIVE
COMMUNITY BROADBAND FEASIBILITY STUDY, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $84,450, TOGETHER WITH THE
RECOMMENDATION OF APPROVAL OF THE WATERLOO
TELECOMMUNICATIONS UTILITY BOARD, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Consulting Services Agreement dated October 28, 2019, between Magellan Advisors,
LLC, Waterloo Telecommunications Utility and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, in the amount of
$84,450.00, for professional consultant services to perform a comprehensive community
broadband feasibility study, together with the recommendation of approval of the Waterloo
Telecommunications Utility Board, is hereby approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are
authorized and directed to execute said document on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 28th day of October 2019.
