RESOLUTION APPROVING AGREEMENT WITH HR GREEN,
INC. , IN THE AMOUNT OF $6, 800 FOR THE PREPARATION
OF A COMBINED APPLICATION TO THE UNITED STATES
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY INCLUDING A
COMMUNITY-WIDE BROWNFIELDS HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCES
ASSESSMENT GRANT TOTALING $200, 000 AND A PETROLEUM
PRODUCTS BORWNFIELDS PROGRAM GRANT TOTALING
$200, 000, AND AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK
TO SIGN AND EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that agreement dated October 26, 2015, between HR Green, Inc. ,
and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, in the amount of $6, 800 . 00, for
the preparation of a combined application to the United States
Environmental Protection agency including a community-wide
brownfields hazardous substances assessment grant totaling
$200, 000 . 00 and a petroleum products brownfields program grant
totaling $200, 000: 00, is hereby approved and the Mayor Pro Tem
and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said
agreement on behalf of' the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 26th day of October 2015 .
