NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
On Proposed Plans, Specifications, Form
of Contract,
And Estimate of Cost
For the
FY2019 YOUNG ARENA ROOF
REPLACEMENT PROJECT, CONTRACT
NO. 998
In the City of Waterloo, Iowa
RECEIVING OF BIDS
Sealed proposals will be received by the
City Clerk of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, at
her office in the City Hall of the said City
on the 14th day of November 2019, until
1:00 p.m. for the construction of the
FY2019 YOUNG ;ARENA, ROOF RE-
PLACEMENT PROJECT, CONTRACT
NO. 998 as described in detail in the
plans and specifications now on file in the
Office of the City Clerk.
OPENING OF BIDS
All proposals received will be opened in
the First Floor Conference Room at City
Hall, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, on the
14th day of November 2019 at 1:00 p.m.,
and the proposals will be acted upon at
such later time and place as may then be
fixed by the City Council.
PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the Council of
said City will conduct a public hearing on
the proposed plans, specifications, form
of contract, and estimate of cost for the
construction of the above-described im-
provement project at 5:30 p.m. on the
18th day of November 2019, said hearing
to be held in the Harold E. Getty Council
Chambers in City Hall in said City. The
proposed plans, specifications, form of
contract, and estimate of cost for said
improvements heretofore prepared by
Benchmark, Inc. are now on file in the
office of the City Clerk for public
examination, and any person interested
therein may file written objection thereto
with the City Clerk before the date set for
said hearing, or appear and make
objection thereto at the meeting above set
forth.
SCOPE OF WORK
The extent of the work involved is
replacement of the Young. Mena West
and East mechanical „single -ply roof
systems located at- 125 C.dmrtiercial
street, Waterloo, Iowa. ,... _
Published pursuant to the provisions of
Chapter 26 of the City Code of Iowa and
upon order to the City Council of said
Waterloo, Iowa, on the 14th day of
October 2019.

a correct bill for publishing said notice.
