NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ON REZONING
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
Notice is hereby given that on the 4th day
of November, 2019, at 5:30 p.m. in the
Council Chambers in the City Hall in the
City of Waterloo, Iowa, a public hearing
will be held by the Council of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, to approve request by the
City of Waterloo to rezone 7.4 acres west
of 420 Harwood Avenue from "R-2" One
and Two Family Residence District to
"R-1, R -P" Planned Residence District
and "C -P" Planned Commercial District,
located west of 420 Harwood Avenue,
legally described as follows:
R-2 TO C -P AREA
BEGINNING AT THE INTERSECTION
OF THE CENTERLINE OF FALLS
AVENUE AND THE CENTERLINE OF
EVERGREEN AVENUE; THENCE
NORTHEASTERLY ALONG THE CEN-
TERLINE OF EVERGREEN AVENUE TO
THE CENTERLINE OF AN ALLEY AS
PLATTED IN GALLOWAY ADDITION
ABUTTING LOTS 342 THRU 348 AND
LOTS 409 THRU 415; THENCE SOUTH-
EASTERLY ALONG THE CENTERLINE
OF SAID ALLEY TO THE CENTERLINE
OF MAGNOLIA PARKWAY; THENCE
SOUTHWESTERLY ALONG THE CEN-

NORTHERLY ALONG THE CENTER-
LINE OF SAID ALLEY TO THE CENTER-
LINE OF BISMARK AVENUE; THENCE
EASTERLY ALONG THE CENTERLINE
OF BISMARK AVENUE TO THE CEN-
TERLINE OF MAGNOLIA PARKWAY
AND THE POINT OF BEGINNING.
Anyone who is interested may appear at
said time and place and be heard or may
file written objection with the City Clerk,
City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, before the date
set for said hearing.

legal rate of said newspaper, and that the following is
a correct bill for publishing said notice.
