NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON
SITE PLAN AMENDMENT
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
Notice is hereby given that on the 4th day
of November, 2019, at 5:30 p.m. in the
Council Chambers in the City Hall in the
City of Waterloo, Iowa, a public hearing
will be held by the Council of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, to approve the request by
the City of Waterloo to vacate approxi-
mately 1,113 square feet of alley located
east of Evergreen Avenue between
Harwood Avenue and Falls Avenue at the
former Edison School site, legally descri-
bed as follows:
THAT PART OF AN ALLEY AS PLAT-
TED IN GALLOWAY ADDITION DESCRI-
BED AS: BEGINNING AT THE SOUTH-
WESTERLY CORNER OF LOT 342;
THENCE SOUTHEASTERLY ALONG
THE NORTHEASTERLY LINE OF SAID
ALLEY TO THE SOUTHWESTERLY
CORNER OF LOT 343; THENCE
SOUTHWESTERLY 8 FEET ALONG
THE SOUTHWESTERLY EXTENSION
OF THE NORTHWESTERLY 1 INF I1F
LOT 343 TO THE CENTERLINE OF
ISAID•ALLEY;'THENCE THEASTER-
LY 40 FEET ALONG THE CENTERLINE
OF SAID ALLEY TO THE NORTHEAST-
ERLY EXTENSION OF THE SOUTH-
EASTERLY LINE OF LOT 414; THENCE
SOUTHWESTERLY 8 FEET ALONG
SAID NORTHEASTERLY EXTENSION
OF THE SOUTHEASTERLY LINE OF
LOT 414 TO THE NORTHEASTERLY
CORNER OF LOT 414; THENCE
NORTHWESTERLY ALONG THE
SOUTHWESTERLY LINE OF SAID AL-
LEY TO THE NORTHWESTERLY COR-
NER OF LOT 415; THENCE NORTH-
EASTERLY TO THE SOUTHWESTERLY
CORNER OF LOT 342 AND THE POINT
OF BEGINNING, SUBJECT TO THE
RETENTION OF -AN EASEMENT FOR
UTILITIES OVER, UNDER AND UPON
THE ABOVE DESCRIBED AREA.
Anyone who is interested may appear al
said time and place and be heard or may
file written objection with the City Clerk,
City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, before the date
set for said hearing.

and that the annexed rate of advertised is the regular
legal rate of said newspaper, and that the following is
a correct bill for publishing said notice.
