ORDINANCE NO. 5528 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 5079, AS AMENDED, CITY OF WATERLOO ZONING ORDINANCE, BY AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP REFERRED TO IN SECTION 10-4-4, TO APPROVE A REQUEST BY MIDWEST DEVELOPMENT TO REZONE APPROXIMATELY 3.7 ACRES FROM "R-1" ONE AND TWO FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT TO "R-1, R-P" PLANNED RESIDENCE DISTRICT, TO ALLOW FOR A NEW HOUSING DEVELOPMENT LOCATED NORTHWEST OF 3520 ANSBOROUGH AVENUE, ALONG AN EXTENSION OF LINCOLNSHIRE ROAD. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the Official Zoning Map referred to in Section 10-4-4 of Ordinance No. 5079 as amended, City of Waterloo Zoning Ordinance, be amended to rezone the property legally described as follows: THAT PART OF THE NORTHEAST 1/4 OF SECTION 5, TOWNSHIP 88 NORTH, RANGE 13 WEST OF THE 5TH P.M., BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA. MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: BEGINNING AT THE SOUTHWESTERLY CORNER OF LOT 49, WEST RIDGE 5TH ADDITION TO THE CITY OF WATERLOO; THENCE ALONG THE SOUTH LINE OF SAID LOT 49 TO THE EXISTING RIGHT-OF-WAY OF LINCOLNSHIRE ROAD; THENCE ALONG SAID RIGHT-OF-WAY OF LINCOLNSHIRE ROAD SOUTHWESTERLY 55' +/-; THENCE SOUTHEASTERLY 185' +/-ALONG THE SOUTH LOT LINES OF LOTS 50 AND 51 OF SAID WEST RIDGE 5TH ADDITION; THENCE SOUTHWESTERLY 585' +/-TO A POINT ON THE NORTH LINE OF WEST RIDGE 4TH ADDITION TO THE CITY OF WATERLOO THAT IS 125' +/- FROM THE EAST RIGHT-OF-WAY OF LINCOLNSHIRE ROAD; THENCE NORTHWESTERLY ALONG LOTS 47 AND 48 OF SAID WEST RIDGE 4TH ADDITION TO THE NORTHWESTERLY CORNER OF LOT 48 AND THE SOUTHEASTERLY CORNER OF LOT 21 WEST RIDGE 3RD ADDITION TO THE CITY OF WATERLOO; THENCE NORTHEASTERLY 640' +/-ALONG THE SOUTHEASTERLY LINE OF SAID WEST RIDGE 3RD ADDITION TO THE SOUTHWESTERLY CORNER OF LOT 49 OF SAID WEST RIDGE 5TH ADDITION AND THE POINT OF BEGINNING.
