RESOLUTION NO. 2019-882
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY SPECIFICATIONS, BID
DOCUMENTS, ETC., AND SETTING A DATE OF BID OPENING AS
DECEMBER 12, 2019 AND DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS
DECEMBER 16, 2019, FOR THE PURCHASE OF TWO (2) NEW
FAIRWAY MOWER UNITS, AND INSTRUCTING CITY CLERK TO
PUBLISH SAID NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary specifications bid documents, etc., in conjunction with
the purchase of two (2) new Fairway mower units, are hereby approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with the purchase of two (2) new Fairway
mower units, be scheduled for December 12, 2019 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 16th day of December 2019,
to hold a public hearing, in conjunction with the purchase of two (2) new Fairway mower units.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of November 2019.
