RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND - PLACE OF
HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE
VACATION, SALE AND CONVEYANCE OF A PORTION OF
GREENHILL ROAD RIGHT—OF—WAY ADJACENT TO 3561
UNIVERSITY AVENUT TO THIRTEEN ASSOCIATES, LLC
IN THE AMOUNT OF $28, 000, AS MAY 26, 2015, AT
5 : 30 P.M. INE HAROLD E. GETTY COUNCIL
CHAMBERS, AT CITY HALL, WATERLOO, IOWA, AND
INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH THE
NOTICE OFIHEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1 . That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
shall meet in the Harold E. Getty Council Chambers, at, City Hall,
Waterloo, Iowa at 5 : 30 p.m. on the 26th day of May, 2015, for the
purpose of considering and acting upon a request to vacate, sell
and convey a portion of Greenhill Road right-of-way adjacent to
3561 University Avenue to Thirteen Associates, LLC in the amount
of $28, 000, and legally described as follows :
Part of the West One-half of the Southwest Quarter of
Section No. 21, Township No. 89 North, Range No. 13
West of the Fifth Principal Meridian, in the City of
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa; more particularly
described as follows :
Commencing at the West Quarter corner- of the said
Section 21; thence S 00030' 52" E along the West line of
said West One-half Southwest Quarter of Section 21,
1886'. 49 feet; thence N 89029' 08" E 50 . 15 feet to" the
East right-of-way line of South Hackett Road and the
Point of Beginning; thence N 80005' 21" E 304 . 24 feet,
along the North right-of-way line of South Hackett
Road; thence N 29047'38" E 319 . 26 feet along the
Westerly right-of-way line of Greenhill Road; thence S
