ORDINANCE NO. 4910
AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF ALLEYS
GENERALLY LOCATED IN BLOCK 7 AND BLOCK 8 OF
THE ROSE HILL FIRST ADDITION AND ASH STREET
BETWEEN SUMNER STREET AND COTTAGE STREET, IN
THE CITY OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA
AND RESCINDING ORDINANCE NO. 4866 IN ITS
ENTIRETY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
as follows:
That alley as platted in "Rose Hill First Addition" to
the City of Waterloo, Iowa, Block Seven (7), lying
between Sumner Street and vacated Cottage Street;
And also;
That alley as platted in "Rose Hill First Addition" to
the City of Waterloo, Iowa, Block Eight (8), lying
between Sumner Street and Cottage Street;
And also;
Ash Street, as platted in "Rose Hill First Addition" to
the City of Waterloo, Iowa, lying between Sumner Street
and Cottage Street, all in the City of Waterloo, Black
Hawk County, Iowa;
shall be, and the same is hereby vacated, subject to City's
retention of permanent easement over, under and above that alley
as platted in "Rose Hill First Addition" to the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, Block Eight (8), lying between Sumner Street and Cottage
Street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Ordinance No. 4866 be, and the
same hereby repealed in its entirety.
