ORDINANCE NO. 4915
AN ORDINANCE VACATING A DRIVEWAY EASEMENT AND
A TELEGRAPH EASEMENT ON LOTS 1 THROUGH 3 IN
BLOCK 3 OF JAMES EGGERS ADDITION AND
UNPLATTED LAND ADJACENT ON CITY -OWNED
PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED AT THE SOUTHWEST
CORNER OF COMMERCIAL STREET AND MULLAN

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
as follows:
Drivewav Easement
Abutting that part of Fractional Lot Two (2) in
Fractional Block Three (3) in James Eggers Addition to
the Village (now City) of Waterloo, Iowa, described as
the Northwesterly (NWly) Twenty (20) feet of the
Southeasterly (SEly) Thirty nine and fifty-two
hundredths (39.52) feet of said Fractional Lot Two (2),
all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
Telegraph Easement
Fractional Lots 1 and 2 and the Southeasterly 40 feet
of Lot 3, Block 3, James Egger's Addition to the
Village of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
AND
That part of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast
Quarter of Section 26, Township 89 North, Range 13 West
of the 5th Principal Meridian, Black Hawk County, Iowa,
described as follows: Commencing at the point of
intersection with the northwesterly line of Mullan
Avenue with the north line of the Northwest Quarter of
the Northeast Quarter of said section 26; thence West
along said north line, to a point that is 80 feet
northwesterly from the northwesterly line of said
Mullan Avenue, measured along a line that is parallel
with the northeasterly line of Block 3, James Egger's
Addition to the Village of Waterloo, Black Hawk County,
Iowa; thence Southwesterly along a line that is
parallel with the northwesterly line of said Mullan
Avenue, to a point on the southwesterly line of said
Block 3 if extended Southeasterly; thence Southeasterly
along a line which is parallel with the Northeasterly
line of said Block 3, 80 feet, to the northwesterly
line of said Mullan Avenue; thence Northeasterly along
the Northwesterly line of said Mullan Avenue, to the
point of beginning.
AND
That part of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast
Quarter of Section 26, Township 89 North, Range 13 West

described as follows: Beginning at the point of

said North line, to a point that is 80 feet

Avenue, as measured along a line that is parallel with
the Northeasterly line of said Block 3; thence
Southwesterly along a line that is parallel with the
Northwesterly line of said Mullan Avenue, to its
intersection with a line drawn through the point of
beginning and parallel to the Northeasterly line of
said Block 3; thence Northwesterly to the point of
beginning, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk
County, Iowa;
shall be, and the same is hereby vacated.
