RESOLUTION NO. 2019-947
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY SPECIFICATIONS, BID
DOCUMENTS, ETC., SETTING DATE OF BID OPENING AS
JANUARY 9, 2020 AND DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS JANUARY
13, 2020, FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) 2020 4 WD, 3/4 TON,
CREW CAB PICKUP TRUCK FOR THE WATERLOO FIRE RESCUE,
AND INSTRUCT CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH SAID NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary specifications bid documents, etc., in conjunction with
the purchase of one (1) 2020 4 WD, 3/4 ton, crew cab pickup truck for the Waterloo Fire Rescue,
are hereby approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with the purchase of one (1) 2020 4 WD,
3/4 ton, crew cab pickup truck for the Waterloo Fire Rescue, be scheduled for January 9, 2020 at
1:00 p.m., City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 13th day of January 2020, to
hold a public hearing, in conjunction with the purchase of one (1) 2020 4 WD, 3/4 ton, crew cab
pickup truck for the Waterloo Fire Rescue.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
