RESOLUTION NO. 2019-959
RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT TO UNIFIRST OF
GRUNDY CENTER, IOWA, AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, Unifirst of Grundy Center, Iowa, submitted a proposal for the 2020 Leisure
Services Facility Services contract, in the amount of$397.72 per week, after public hearing on
December 16, 2019, and is the apparent low bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA
1. That the proposal of Unifirst, submitted in the amount of $397.72 per week, in
conjunction with the Leisure Services 2020 Request for Facility Services, is hereby accepted and
the contract awarded to Unifirst.
2. That the Mayor is authorized and directed to execute said documents on behalf of
the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of December 2019.
