RESOLUTION NO. 2019-965 RESOLUTION APPROVING A REAL ESTATE PURCHASE AGREEMENT WITH HAWTHORNE PROPERTIES, IN THE AMOUNT OF $95,250 PLUS UP TO $5,000 IN CLOSING COSTS, TO ACQUIRE 725 GLENWOOD STREET AND 915 LINDEN AVENUE, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA that the Real Estate Purchase Agreement dated December 16, 2019, between Hawthorne Rentals, LLC, of Waterloo, Iowa and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, for property legally described as follows: WILBYS ADDITION LOT 2 AND WILBYS ADDITION LOT 10 in the amount of$95,250, plus up to $5,000.00 in closing costs, to 725 Glenwood Street and 915 Linden Avenue, is hereby approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
