RESOLUTION NO. 2019-969
RESOLUTION SETTING DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS
JANUARY 13, 2020, TO APPROVE THE REQUEST BY THE
CITY OF WATERLOO TO VACATE APPROXIMATELY
16,500 SQUARE FEET OF BLUFF STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY,
LOCATED BETWEEN W. 6TH STREET AND W. 7TH
STREET, AND INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH
NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 13th day of January
2020, for the purpose of considering and acting upon the request by the City of Waterloo to
vacate approximately 16,500 square feet of Bluff Street right-of-way, located between W. 6th
Street and W. 7th Street.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 30th day of December 2019.
