RESOLUTION NO. 2020-17
RESOLUTION APPROVING AN ASSISTANCE TO
FIREFIGHTERS GRANT APPLICATION TO PURCHASE NEW
SELF-CONTAINED BREATHING APPARATUS, AND
AUTHORIZING THE FIRE CHIEF TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that
the Assistance to Firefighters Grant application to purchase new self-contained breathing
apparatus, dated January 6, 2020, in the amount of$400,000 with a City match of $40,000, is
hereby approved, and the Fire Chief is authorized and directed to execute said document on
behalf of the City of Waterloo.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of January 2020.
