AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 2008 TRAFFIC CODE
BY REPEALING SUBSECTION (11) COMMERCIAL
STREET OF SECTION 541, INCREASING SPEED
LIMITS IN CERTAIN AREAS; AND ENACTING IN LIEU
THEREOF A NEW SUBSECTION (11) COMMERCIAL
STREET OF SECTION 541, INCREASING SPEED
LIMITS IN CERTAIN AREAS; AND
ADDING SUBSECTION (lla) COMMERCIAL STREET
(WEST) TO SECTION 541, INCREASING SPEED
LIMITS IN CERTAIN AREAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA:
That Subsection (11) Commercial Street of Section 541,
Increasing Speed Limits in Certain Areas, of the 2008 Traffic
Code, is hereby repealed in its entirety; that a new Subsection
(11) Commercial Street of Section 541, Increasing Speed Limits in
Certain Areas, of the 2008 Traffic Code, is hereby enacted in
lieu thereof as follows:
(11) Commercial Street - from
LaPorte Road to Mullan Avenue
30 mph
That Subsection (lla) Commercial Street (West) of Section
541, Increasing Speed Limits in Certain Areas, of the 2008
Traffic Code, is hereby added as follows:
(lla) Commercial Street (West) -
00 to 400 blocks inclusive
30 mph
