RESOLUTION NO. 2020-64
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC. AND SETTING
DATE OF BID OPENING AS FEBRUARY 27, 2020, AND DATE OF
PUBLIC HEARING AS MARCH 2, 2020, FOR THE FY 2020
UNIVERSITY AVENUE RECONSTRUCTION - PHASE 3 FROM
EVERGREEN AVENUE TO HIGHWAY 63, CONTRACT 971, AND
INSTRUCT CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH SAID NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in
conjunction with the FY 2020 University Avenue Reconstruction - Phase 3 from Evergreen
Avenue to Highway 63, Contract 971, are hereby approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with the FY 2020 University Avenue
Reconstruction - Phase 3 from Evergreen Avenue to Highway 63, Contract 971, be scheduled for
February 27, 2020 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 2nd day of March 2020, to
hold a public hearing, in conjunction with FY 2020 University Avenue Reconstruction - Phase 3
from Evergreen Avenue to Highway 63, Contract 971.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is herebydirected topublish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
