The Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, met in Organizational Meeting at Harold E. Getty Council
Chambers, Waterloo, Iowa,at 5:25 p.m., on Monday, December 30, 2019. Quentin Hart in the Chair. Roll
Call: Jacobs,Morrissey, Feuss, Klein,Amos, Schmitt, and Juon.
157232 - Morrissey/Amos
that the Agenda, as proposed, for the Organizational Meeting on Monday, December 30, 2019, at
5:25 p.m.,be accepted and approved. Ayes: Seven. Motion carried.
City Clerk, Kelley Felchle, administered the Oath of Office to Mayor-Elect Quentin Hart.
Mayor Hart administered the Oath of Office to re-elected 4th Ward Council member Jerome Amos, Jr.
Mayor Hart administered the Oath of Office to newly elected 2nd Ward Council member Jonathan Grieder.
Mayor Hart administered the Oath of Office to newly elected At-Large Council member Dave Boesen.

that the Oaths of Office of the Mayor and City Council Members be received and placed on file.
Voice vote-Ayes: Seven. Motion carried.
157234 - Morrissey/Amos
that Mayor Hart's recommendation of appointment of Sharon Juon, as Mayor Pro Tem, be received,
placed on file and approved. Ayes: Seven. Motion carried.
157235 - Morrissey/Amos
that Mayor Hart's recommendation of appointment of Pat Treloar as Chief of Fire Services, be
received, placed on file and approved. Ayes: Seven. Motion carried.

that Council Members' recommendation to appoint Kelley Felchle as City Clerk, be received, placed
on file and approved. Ayes: Seven. Motion carried.

that City Clerk, Kelley Felchle's, recommendation to appoint LeAnn Even as Deputy City Clerk, be
received,placed on file and approved. Ayes: Seven. Motion carried.

that Mayor Hart's recommendation of appointment of the following Council Standing Committees
for 2019 - 2020 be received,placed on file and approved:
