RESOLUTION NO. 2012-686
RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF IOWA DEPARTMENT
OF TRANSPORTATION, FOR VARIANCE TO NOISE
ORDINANCE, ORDINANCE NO. 3094 .
WHEREAS, the Iowa Department of Transportation is requesting
a variance to the Noise Ordinance during the 2013 season in
conjunction with the rehabilitation of Highway 63 from Hudson to
Highway 20, to perform evening and night time work, and
WHEREAS, said work will exceed the limits of the Noise
Ordinance, Ordinance No. 3094, and
WHEREAS, said Iowa Department of Transportation has made
formal application for a variance during the 2013 season.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of the Iowa Department of
Transportation, for a variance to Ordinance No. 3094, Noise
Ordinance, during the 2013 season in conjunction with the
rehabilitation of Highway 63 from Hudson to Highway 20, to
perform evening and night time work, be and the same hereby
granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9th day of July, 2012 .
