RESOLUTION NO. 2012-715
RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF MAIN STREET
WATERLOO FOR VARIANCE TO ORDINANCE NO. 3094,
NOISE ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, Main Street Waterloo is requesting a variance to
the Noise Ordinance on July 20, 2012 from 5 : 30 p.m. to 9: 30 p.m.
and on July 21, 2012 from 12 : 00 noon to 10 : 00 p.m. , in
conjunction with BBQ' Loo & Blues Too event to be held at Lincoln
Park, including a band and the use of a PA system, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of Ordinance No.
3094, Noise Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, said Main Street Waterloo has made formal
application for a variance to the Noise Ordinance on July 20,
2012 from 5 : 30 p.m. to 9: 30 p.m. and on July 21, 2012 from 12 : 00
noon to 10 : 00 p.m. , together with recommendation of approval of
the Director of Safety Services .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Main Street Waterloo for a
variance to the Noise Ordinance on July 20, 2012 from 5 : 30 p.m.
to 9 : 30 p.m. and on July 21, 2012 from 12 : 00 noon to 10 : 00 p.m. ,
in conjunction with BBQ'Loo & Blues Too event to be held at
Lincoln Park, including a band and the use of a PA system, be and
the same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of July, 2012 .
