RESOLUTION NO. 2012-798
RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF TAMMY SHAVER
FOR A VARIANCE TO ORDINANCE NO. 3094, NOISE
ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, Tammy Shaver is requesting a variance to the Noise
Ordinance on September 8, 2012 from 12 : 00 noon to 11 : 00 p.m. , in
conjunction with Greenbrier Reunion event to be held at Glen
Tibbets Park located on Cedar Bend Street, including a DJ and the
use of a PA system, with recommendation and approval of the
Director of Safety Services, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of the Ordinance
No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, said Tammy Shaver has made formal application for a
variance effective September 8, 2012 from 12 : 00 noon to 11 : 00
p.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Tammy Shaver for a variance
to Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, on September 8, 2012 from
12 : 00 noon to 11 : 00 p.m. , in conjunction with Greenbrier Reunion
event to be held at Glen Tibbets Park located on Cedar Bend
Street, including a DJ and the use of a PA system, be and the
same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 13th day of August, 2012 .
