RESOLUTION NO. 2012-797
RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF MATT BOYD FOR
A VARIANCE TO ORDINANCE NO. 3094, NOISE
ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, Matt Boyd is requesting a variance to the Noise
Ordinance on August 25-26, 2012, from 12 : 00 noon to 10 : 30 p.m. ,
in conjunction with North End Arts and Music Fest event to be
held at 1621 East 4th Street, including a band and the use of a
PA system, with recommendation and approval of Director of Safety
Services, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of the Ordinance
No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, said Matt Boyd has made formal application for a
variance effective August 25-26, 2012, from 12 : 00 noon to 10 : 30
p.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Matt Boyd for a variance to
Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, on August 25-26, 2012, from
12 : 00 noon to 10 : 30 p.m. , in conjunction with North End Arts and
Music Fest event to be held at 1621 East 4th Street, including a
band and the use of a PA system, be and the same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 13th day of August, 2012 .
