RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SUBMISSION OF REAP
(RESOURCE ENHANCEMENT AND PROTECTION) GRANT
APPLICATION TO IOWA DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL
RESOURCES AND DIRECTING EXECUTION OF SAID
GRANT APPLICATION BY MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the REAP (Resource Enhancement and Protection) grant
application for funding in the amount of $200, 000 . 00, with a city
match of $10, 000 . 00, for the Riverview Recreation Area Trail
Extension, by and between the Iowa Department of Natural
Resources and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be and the same is
hereby approved, and the Mayor authorized to execute the same in
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 13th day of August, 2012 .
