RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE
PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT WITH MFGC, LLC
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A 5, 664 SQUARE FOOT
MEDICAL OFFICE BUILDING IN THE SAN MARNAN TIF
DISTRICT, AS SEPTEMBER 4, 2012, AT 5 : 30 P.M.
IN CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS, WATERLOO, IOWA
AND INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH THE
NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa
shall meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa at 5 : 30 p.m. on the 4th day of September, 2012,
for the purpose of considering and acting upon a proposed
Development Agreement with MFGC, LLC for the construction of a
5, 664 square foot medical office building in the San Marnan TIF
District, adding $1, 275, 000 . 00 of taxable value to the site, and
offering lst year at 72 percent tax rebates, and then 9 years at
71 percent tax rebates to the company, and legally described as
follows :
The east 21 . 99 feet in even width of Lot 3, Country
Club Business Center Addition and Lot 4, except the
east 149. 7 feet in even width, Country Club Business
Center, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County,
Iowa.
Section 2 . That the City Clerk is hereby directed to
publish notice of the time and place of said hearing in the
Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of August, 2012 .
