RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF KAINONIA
M. F. S . B. CHURCH, 2222 FALLS AVENUE, FOR
VARIANCE TO ORDINANCE NO. 3094, NOISE
ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, Kainonia M. F. S . B. Church, 2222 Falls Avenue, is
requesting a variance to the Noise Ordinance on September 2, 2012
from 9: 30 a.m. to 4 : 00 p.m. in conjunction with a church picnic
and morning services to be held in the parking lot and grounds of
Kainonia M. F. S . B. Church, including live music and the use of a
PA system, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of Ordinance No.
3094, Noise Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, said Kainonia M. F. S. B. Church, 2222 Falls Avenue,
has made formal application for a variance to the Noise Ordinance
on September 2, 2012 from 9 : 30 a.m. to 4 : 00 p.m. , together with
recommendation of approval of the Director of Safety Services .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Kainonia M. F. S.B. Church,
2222 Falls Avenue, has made formal application for a variance to
the Noise Ordinance on September 2, 2012 from 9 : 30 a.m. to 4 : 00
p.m. in conjunction with a church picnic and morning services to
be held in the parking lot and grounds of Kainonia M. F. S . B.
Church, including live music and the use of a PA system, be and
the same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 27th day of August, 2012 .
