RESOLUTION NO. 2012-915
RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF SUZY SCHARES
FOR A VARIANCE TO ORDINANCE NO. 3094, NOISE
ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, Suzy Schares is requesting a variance to the Noise
Ordinance on October 20, 2012 from 7 : 30 p.m. to 12 : 00 midnight,
in conjunction with a Birthday Party event to be held at 3630
Ranchero Road, including a band and the use of a PA system, with
recommendation and approval of the Director of Safety Services,
and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of the Ordinance
No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, said Suzy Schares has made formal application for a
variance effective October 20, 2012 from 7 : 30 p.m. to 12 : 00
midnight.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Suzy Schares for a variance
to Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, on October 20, 2012 from
7 : 30 p.m. to 12 : 00 midnight, in conjunction with a Birthday Party
event to be held at 3630 Ranchero Road, including a band and the
use of a PA system, be and the same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of September, 2012 .
