RESOLUTION NO. 2012-942
RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF EL SENOR
TEQUILA NIGHTCLUB, 118-120 EAST 11TH STREET,
FOR VARIANCE TO ORDINANCE NO. 3094, NOISE
ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, El Senor Tequila Nightclub, 118-120 East llth
Street, is requesting a variance to the Noise Ordinance on
September 30, 2012 from 2 : 00 p.m. to 8 : 30 p.m. in conjunction
with Independence Month of Mexico event to be held in the parking
lot of El Senor Tequila Nightclub, including live bands and the
use of a PA system, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of Ordinance No.
3094, Noise Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, said El Senor Tequila Nightclub, 118-120 East llth
Street, has made formal application for a variance to the Noise
Ordinance on September 30, 2012 from 2 : 00 p.m. to 8 : 30 p.m. ,
together with recommendation of approval of the Director of
Safety Services .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of El Senor Tequila Nightclub,
118-120 East 1lth Street, for a variance to the Noise Ordinance
on September 30, 2012 from 2 : 00 p.m. to 8 : 30 p.m. in conjunction
with Independence Month of Mexico event to be held in the parking
lot of El Senor Tequila Nightclub, including live bands and the
use of a PA system, be and the same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 24th day of September, 2012 .
