RESOLUTION NO. 2012-956
RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF WILL MCINTEE
FOR A VARIANCE TO ORDINANCE NO. 3094, NOISE
ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, Will McIntee is requesting a variance to the Noise
Ordinance on October 2, 2012 from 2 : 30 p.m. to 3 : 30 p.m. , in
conjunction with Veterans for Bruce Braley event to be held at
Soldiers & Sailors Park, including the use of a PA system, with
recommendation and approval of the Director of Safety Services,
and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of the Ordinance
No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, said Will McIntee has made formal application for a
variance effective October 2, 2012 from 2 : 30 p.m. to 3 : 30 p.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Will McIntee for a variance
to Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, on October 2, 2012 from
2 : 30 p.m. to 3 : 30 p.m. , in conjunction with Veterans for Bruce
Braley event to be held at Soldiers & Sailors Park, including the
use of a PA system, be and the same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this lst day of October, 2012 .
