ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2479, AS
AMENDED, BY ADDING SUBSECTION NO. 405 TO
SECTION 2A-5, REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
Section 1. That Section 2A-5, of Ordinance No. 2479, as
amended, be further amended by adding after Subsection No. 404,
of said Section, the following Subsection No. Four Hundred Five
(405) .

A survey of that part of the Northeast Quarter (NE %),
Section 19, Township 89 North (T89N), Range 12 West
(R12W) of the Fifth Principal Meridian (5th P.M.), in
the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, State of Iowa,
more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Southwest corner of said Northeast
Quarter (NE 1/); thence N89050122"E 16.5 feet along the
South line of said Northeast Quarter (NE 1/); thence
N00009138"W, 33.00 feet to the intersection with the
North line of Willow Street right of way, and the East
line of Idaho Street, and the point of beginning;
thence continuing N89050122"E 144.20 feet along the
South line of said Northeast Quarter (NE 1/), to the
intersection with the South line of the railway right
of way, as recorded in the office of the Black Hawk
County Recorder in Land Deed Book 71 at Page 241;
thence N50035122"W 186.64 feet along said railway right
of way to a point on the East line of Idaho Street

containing 8,572.3 square feet, or 0.197 acres.

described in Document No. 2008 025376, filed for
record: June 17, 2008, with the Black Hawk County
Recorder, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk
County, Iowa.

more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Southwest corner of said Northeast

the South line of said Northeast Quarter (NE 1/), to the
intersection with the extension of the South line of
the railway right of way, as recorded in the of f ice of
the Black Hawk County Recorder in Land Deed Book 71 at
Page 241; thence N50035122"W 51.80 feet along said
railway right of way extension to a point on the North
line of Willow Street right of way, and the point of
beginning; thence continuing N50035122"W 186.64 feet
along said railway right of way to a point on the East

acres, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County,

A survey of part of the Northeast Quarter (NE %),
Section 19, Township 89 North (T89N), Range 12 West
(R12W) of the Fifth Principal Meridian (5th P.M.), in
the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, State of Iowa,
more particularly described as that portion lying East
of Idaho Street and West of the West line of the
railway right of way, containing 5,419.0 square feet,
or 0.124 acres, as recorded in the office of the Black
Hawk County Recorder in Land Deed Book 71 at Page 241,
all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa;
now zoned on the Zoning Map of Waterloo, Iowa, as "R-2" One and
Two Family Residence District, be and the same is hereby zoned as
"C -P" Planned Commercial District."
Section 2. That the City Clerk be, and she hereby is,
directed to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the
Recorder of Black Hawk County, Iowa.
