RESOLUTION NO. 2020-102
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELM41NARY SPECIFICATIONS,
FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC.,AND SETTING DATE OF BID
OPENING AS MARCH 12, 2020, AND PUBLIC HEARING AS
MARCH 16, 2020, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE 5 SULLIVAN
BROTHERS CONVENTION CENTER PENTHOUSE CHILLER
REPLACEMENT PROJECT, AND INSTRUCT CITY CLERK TO
PUBLISH SAID NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary specifications, bid document, etc., in conjunction with
the 5 Sullivan Brothers Convention Center Penthouse Chiller Replacement project, are hereby
approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with the 5 Sullivan Brothers Convention
Center Penthouse Chiller Replacement project, be scheduled for March 12, 2020 at 1:00 p.m.,
City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 16`h day of March 2020, to
hold a public hearing, in conjunction with the 5 Sullivan Brothers Convention Center Penthouse
Chiller Replacement project.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17'h day of February 2020.
